Composer and associate professor Kevin Hanlon has been involved with and influenced by popular music ever since the beginning of the British Invasion. The title of the concert is drawn from the name of a multi-album project by Frank Zappa, one of Hanlon’s significant influences. The concert will feature the premiere of the concert version of Hanlon’s Elegy for F.Z.
