Celebrate Jane Austen's actual birthday by attending the Jane Austen Society of North America's birthday luncheon hosted by the North Central Texas Region. Professor of English, Dr. Joyce Tarpley, will bring an enlightening presentation entitled Homecoming and Manhood in Persuasion. Persuasion was published at the end of 1817, a few months after her death. It was the last novel Jane Austen fully completed.
