Fort Worth Civic Orchestra

Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary - Truett Auditorium

A New World, it’s the inspiring Symphony Number 9 from Antonin Dvorak and the title for the upcoming fall concert of the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra! Be there Saturday evening, October 21 when the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra takes you on a musical journey when you board Arthur Honegger’s “Pacific Three Two One”, inspired by the composer’s passion for locomotives.

Then assistant professor of flute at TCU, Shauna Thompson shines in Martin Blessinger’s exuberant Rhapsody for Flute and Orchestra.

And finally, Dvorak’s “a new world” caps the evening as music director Kurt Sprenger leads the Fort Worth Civic Orchestra!

Bring your friends and come for this magnificent performance and remember, admission is free!

The Fort Worth Civic Orchestra fall concert is Saturday, October 21 at7:30 in Truett Auditorium at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, 2001 West Seminary Drive in Fort Worth.
