Join us on the historic Pilot Point town square, as we celebrate the 8th annual BONNIE & CLYDE DAYS! Pilot Point, Texas, was the location of the filming of the famous “bank robbery scene” in the 1968 movie “Bonnie and Clyde” starring Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty. Additionally, Pilot Point (and neighboring towns and counties) was actually the stomping-grounds of Bonnie and Clyde and their cohorts, as well as other well-known outlaws (the James Gang, the Younger Brothers, Quantrill’s Raiders and others). The Festival is hosted by Pilot Point’s Main Street Program.
During the all-day event, Pilot Point becomes a piece of living history with old-timey, small town 1930's era family fun! Festivalgoers step back in time as they watch the Model A and Classic Car Show, performances from the UNT Jazz Quartet, the Denton Community Theater cast of "Bonnie and Clyde and the Peanut Thrashing Demonstrations. Visitors can cheer on participants during the Cabinet Makers Soap Box Challenge and the Old Fashioned Pie Eating Contest. Bonnie & Clyde Days also offers street and food vendors, live music and entertainment throughout the day with a FREE Kids Zone, featuring children's activities.
