The Flower Mound Symphony Orchestra presents its first offering of the season, Aranjuez, at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church (6101 Morriss Road in Flower Mound) on Saturday, October 21 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Directed by Maestro Esteban Rojas and presented free of charge to the community, it promises to be an evening of music you will never forget. Donations are gratefully accepted. Featured are Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8 in G major and Joaquin Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez featuring guitar soloist Chuck Allred.
Mr. Allred, originally hailing from Abilene received degrees in Classical Guitar Performance from the University of North Texas and Southern Methodist University. He maintains a historical repertoire of four and a half centuries of music, and is an active composer and arranger.
