Masterworks Concert Series: Katsuk

Hurst Public Library

Join us for our MasterWorks Concert: Katsuk
Thursday, October 26th at 7pm at the Hurst Public Library

Like a breeze of fresh air resonating forth from the heart of Texas, KatsüK [n. catsook] is a powerfully magnetic group at the forefront of a fervent world transformation in conscious music. KatsüK is the creation of frontman and songwriter Daniel Katsük who has honed a masterful quality of composition and performance beyond his years. For Daniel, music has been a kind of Shamanic journey, a way to connect with others. “My hope is that people are moved…to dance, to cry, to anger, to wonder. I have been on a journey of understanding my own inner landscape and hoping to help others navigate their own.” Listening to KatsüK is indeed akin to having an out-of-body experience and traveling through the astral realms. Their music evokes the euphoric but somewhat dangerous feeling of falling in love—driving very fast down dark roads with the headlights off. At the same time, Daniel’s soaring vocals and songs that spiral upward to a crescendo call to mind the experience of climbing to the top of a mountain and seeing the sunrise.
