Soprano Samantha Kantak and baritone Michael Anthony McGee team up for the season’s first International Chamber Series concert, presented by the Lewisville Lake Symphony in cooperation with the University of North Texas College of Music. Both artists, instructors at UNT’s College of Music, are at home on the operatic stage as well as having had leading roles with musical theater and the concert stage.
The concert is one of 2000 concerts in over 80 countries that commemorate the life of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal’s South Asia Bureau Chief, who was kidnapped and assassinated by terrorists in Pakistan while working on a story about Al-Queda.
