Please join Daniel Tiger, Katerina Kittycat, and KERA for a very special Be My Neighbor Day!
Saturday, October 14, 2017, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Dallas Heritage Village in Old City Park.
» Children and parents alike will learn the importance of community-focused kindness and sharing by taking part in a variety of service projects benefiting local nonprofits.
» Families will also be able to explore Dallas Heritage Village, watch some of your favorite Daniel Tiger episodes, meet new friends and take photos with Daniel and Katerina!
» We will also be collecting items for our North Texas neighbors who need it the most. Check below for a full list of items needed. All of the items collected at the Daniel Tiger Be My Neighbor Day event will be donated to families in need across North Texas. We thank you for being a caring neighbor!Can’t wait to see you at the event.
SERVICE PROJECTS
· Assembling toiletry and craft kits for our neighbors
· Creating get well cards for our friends in the hospital
DONATIONS
Be My Neighbor Day is free and open to all. However, families are encouraged to bring the following items to donate:
· Jars of peanut butter
· Gloves (for children and adults)
· Scarves
· Socks
· Hats
