For ONE NIGHT ONLY, DNCB is bringing an all-new Horror Series to the Sammons Center for the Arts to celebrate Halloween! Join us for a performance of all-new works based on horror films such as Carrie, Nightmare on Elm Street and Bram Stoker's Dracula.
The performance will feature new pieces by guest choreographers Adrián Aguirre (Artistic Director of Uno Más) and Elise Lavallee (Ballet Concerto, Bruce Wood Dance Project, TBT). We're also excited to host guest company 6 o'Clock Dance Theatre and the premiere of new work by the company's co-director Marielle McGregor.
Held at Meadows Hall in the historic Sammons Center for the Arts, the scene is already set for a haunting night out on the town. This year, the audience will be set up in a round, creating an intimate setting and good views for all.
Refreshments will be served starting at 7:30 p.m., at intermission, and after the performance until 10 p.m. We also have a Silent Auction! Performance begins at 8 p.m.
Tickets $22 each. LIMITED SEATING AVAILABLE! Yogis and youngsters can purchase floor seating for a discounted price of $16 per ticket -- feel free to bring a small blanket or yoga mat as a cushion! RESERVE YOUR SEAT BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE -- that is, if you're not too scared!
