Legendary bassist and two-time Grammy winner, Eddie Gomez, has been on the cutting edge of music for over 4 decades. His impressive resume includes performances with jazz greats Miles Davis, Bill Evans (Eddie was a member of Bill's trio for 11 years) Dizzy Gillespie, Gerry Mulligan and Benny Goodman. Eddie's unique sound and style can be heard on many Grammy winning records as well as hundreds of records. Today, tours and records with his own group which includes 'our own' Stefan Karlsson on piano. For this very special jazz evenet, Eddie invites retired Head of the UNT Jazz Drums Department, Ed Soph.This will be an extraordinary live jazz event for Dallas.
