Coffee With Hal will provide fascinating insights into the work of noted architect Hal Thomson, who designed many prominent Dallas mansions in the early 20th century. The Friends of Aldredge House, in partnership with Preservation Dallas, is presenting this lecture as the first in a series of special public events at the historic Aldredge home on Swiss Avenue. Architect Wilson Fuqua will discuss Thomson's work, which included the Aldredge House, and will take guests to a second Swiss Avenue home designed by Thomson. His design of the Aldredge House, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is considered the high mark of his architectural career. He also designed the Toddie Lee Wynne home on Lakeside Drive in Highland Park, affectionately known as the "birthday cake."
Tickets are $30 for members of the Friends of Aldredge House and $35 for non-members. Seating is limited
