Skillman Southwestern Library Friends will host author and speaker Robert E. Hall who specializes in the study of business and social relationships. His book This Land of Strangers identifies a crises impacting social issues such as education, poverty, global competitiveness and political gridlock. Hall lays out strategies toward a more engaged and cooperative society. This free event is in conjunction with the Skillman Southwestern Library Friends annual meeting,Thursday, September 28, at the library, 5707 Skillman Street, Dallas. Refreshments are 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and the program is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
