Presentation by Calligrapher, Diane von Arx, Letter Maker & Designer The Saint John's Bible


University of Dallas (UD) - Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery

The Beatrice M. Haggerty is pleased to present Diane von Arx, one of only three Americans involved on The Saint John’s Bible and art director and scribe on their book of Honor. Diane will present on the Calligraphy of the Saint John’s Bible with a Q&A session and demonstrations. Diane has been a graphic designer for over 25 years, specializing in Creative Lettering, Calligraphy and Corporate Identity. She conducts workshops throughout the U.S., Canada, Japan and Australia. She has published three beginning calligraphy workbooks and her work has been included in numerous exhibitions and private collections. This presentation coincides with our current exhibition Modern Sacred: The Saint John’s Bible and Selections from the Permanent Collection on through to Sept. 29th.

Please join us in the Art History Auditorium of the Haggerty Art Village at The University of Dallas for this engaging lecture. This is a free event and the exhibition will be open before the presentation.
