The Victorian Fencing Society will present a public exhibition of the nineteenth century martial art of fencing on Saturday, November 11th, from 1 to 4 PM in the Old Church. This third annual Grand Assault of Arms is similar to the kind held throughout the nineteenth century and will involve all kinds of weapons that are used in fencing. Visitors are invited to cheer for their champions, ask questions, and take photos of the events. Trained fencers will be on hand to answer any questions the public may have. By the end of the afternoon, a winner will be announced. For more information contact the Historical Park at 972.406.0184 or [email protected].
