Season Opener and Alumni Homecoming

Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center

On Sunday, October 22nd, Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra will kick off its 46th season with pieces by Mozart, de Falla, Gluck, and Respighi. Led by Maestro Richard Giangiulio, the 110-member symphony orchestra is made up of the top young talent from across Dallas and North Texas.

Repertoire includes: 

  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Overture to “Magic Flute”
  • Manuel de Falla, The Three Cornered Hat Suite No 1 & 2
  • Christoph W.R. von Gluck, Dance of the Blessed Spirits From Orpheus
  • Ottorino Respighi, Feste Romane
