Individuals and organizations that have made significant and lasting contributions to the arts will be honored at the ArtCentre of Plano’s For the Love of Art event, October 28, 2017, to be held at Collin College Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano, TX 75024, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The event’s theme, Chairish Creativity, cleverly incorporates chairs into the event, encouraging artists and “artists to be” to decorate chairs artistically and donate them for auction.
The event will include dinner, entertainment by Collin College students, a silent auction of art donated by well-known artists from throughout the Metroplex and presentation of awards created by highly-acclaimed glass artist Jim Bowman (whose works were recently on display in a special exhibition at Neiman Marcus Plano).
