Slime Time

Nicholson Memorial Library System - Central Library

Tweens ages 10 to 13 can make their own slime and learn a little chemistry in the process at the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s Slime Time event. Slime creation begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Central Library.

The slime will be made with white glue, water, and a pre-made solution of water and borax. Attendees may embellish their slime with small beads, buttons, glitter, and food coloring. Participants may also bring their smartphone to record themselves manipulating their slime.

No registration is required to attend this free event. Children must be ages 10 through 13 to attend. The Central Library is located at 625 Austin St., in Downtown Garland.
