Artivism: The Magical Disappearance of Johnny's Forgotten Self

Moody Performance Hall

Join us for The Magical Disappearance of Johnny's Forgotten Self, an original production created by teens in Big Thought's Artivism program.

Artivism is a partnership between Big Thought, Southern Methodist University, and professional Dallas artists to provide teens with a platform to speak out against social and racial justice issues through artwork, poetry and the performing arts. This August, teens from across Dallas came together to speak truth to power by creating a play that amplifies the voices that need to be heard and inspires audiences to take action.

The Thursday, August 24th performance will feature pre-show activities and refreshments starting at 7:00pm. After the performance, join us for a talk back with the actors, writers and artists.

Note: There are limited seats available for this event. Tickets are required and will be requested at the door.
