The Bradetich Foundation is hosting its Second International Double Bass Solo Competition at the UNT Murchison Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017 at 7:30 pm.
The best double bassists in the world will be competing in the final showcase to win the largest prizes in double bass history, with the first prize valued at more than $30,000! Founded by University of North Texas Regents Professor and world-renown double bassist Jeff Bradetich, the Foundation strives to advance the performing, teaching, and knowledge of the double bass on an international level, through solo competitions, educational outreach, and cross-cultural connections.
