The Snyder Family Series of Sammons Cabaret kicks off its fall 2017 season with the smooth, smoky, and sophisticated sounds of Marc Toussaint. The Dallas native, who grew up listening to Frank Sinatra, Mel Tormé, and other great crooners, has since made a name for himself, singing at popular spots like The Mansion and Ritz Carlton as well as many area museums, festivals, and charity events. Marc has also shared the stage with international artists including Stevie Wonder, Mike Love, and Lyle Lovett.
Tickets to Sammons Cabaret cost $45 per person; Sammons members receive a $5 per ticket discount. Admission includes beverages, light appetizers, and valet parking. Doors to Kurth Hall open at 7:30 p.m.; concerts begin at 8:00 p.m. Each concert features two performance sets of about 40 minutes each with an intermission between. Dress is generally business casual, but some wear cocktail attire.
Tickets go on sale Monday, August 14. All major credit cards are accepted. Artists and programs are subject to change. For tickets or more information, call (214) 520-7788 or visit www.sammonsartcenter.org.
