Dr. Frederick Turner, a Nobel Prize nominee, a professor and scholar, a progenitor of new intellectual movements, a literary and cultural critic, a translator—and perhaps first and foremost as a poet. With several published volumes of lyric poetry, as well as three epic poems, Dr. Turner has established himself in the front ranks of American poets writing today.
