The Fort Worth Art Dealers Association (FWADA) presents its annual Selections exhibition and hosts an art talk focused on contemporary art collecting this July at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. Selections 2017 events are free and open to the public.
The Selections 2017 exhibition opens Friday, July 7, with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibition features select works by artists from the following FWADA member galleries: Art on the Boulevard, Artspace 111, Atrium Gallery at UNTHSC, Fort Works Art, McAnthony’s Multicultural Gallery, Rebecca Low Sculpture Gallery, Inc., SiNaCa Studios, The Upstairs Gallery, Weiler House Fine Art Gallery, and William Campbell Contemporary Art. Selections 2017 runs through July 27.
Trends in the Contemporary Art Collecting Market takes place Tuesday, July 18, at 7 p.m. and features a presentation by Ed Beardsley, vice president and managing director, Fine & Decorative Arts at Heritage Auctions in Dallas.
