Take color theory to the next level is this three-day workshop. The study of mosaic glass colors theory is an extension beyond color theory for painting. The mosaic artist will learn to identify mixing cuts of different color glass when viewing at a distance creates a third color. The effect of this interaction is called simultaneous contrast. We will discuss the use of color in a mosaic and how to focus the viewer’s glaze on a particular area. This will increase confidence when selecting smalti, stained glass, and even grout.
