The heARTful ARTist! is a week long art workshop where children delve into their inner artist and create heARTful art. The art will cover the basics of drawing, sketching, and learning to use a variety of art media like oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, watercolors and acrylic paints. A big focus is on the technique and understanding the key elements of art- line, shape, form, space, texture, value and color. This will help set a strong foundation for a lifetime. Children will learn techniques about new media each day and take home their completed masterpieces.
