Crochet Workshop

Nicholson Memorial Library System - Central Library

Adults who have always wanted to learn to crochet but were unsure of how to get started can receive free instruction at the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s Crochet Workshop, part of the Adult Summer Reading Program. The event will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 1 at the Central Library.

At this introductory workshop, crochet beginners will learn basic techniques and some simple stitches that will allow them to pursue further crochet projects. All crochet supplies and tools, including yarn and hooks, will be provided.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, this program is limited to 12 individuals aged 18 and older. Registration is required and begins June 17. To register, please call 972-205-2501. The Central Library is located at 625 Austin St., in Downtown Garland. Please be aware that photographs and video may be taken at Library programs for use in print and/or electronic media at the Library’s discretion.
