La La Land Screening


Nicholson Memorial Library System - South Garland Branch

Adults can enjoy a free screening of the musical film La La Land as part of the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s Adult Summer Reading Program. The movie will be shown at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 29 at the South Garland Branch Library.

In La La Land, Mia, an aspiring actress, and Sebastian, a struggling jazz musician, experience the tension involved in both love and ambition as they pursue their dreams and their relationship in Los Angeles.

The film is rated PG-13, but due to language, this event is recommended for adults. Children may attend if accompanied by an adult. 

Parents may consult IMDB.com or commonsensemedia.com to make an informed decision on whether La La Land is appropriate viewing for their families.

 

Doors open 15 minutes prior to the event. No registration is required, but seating is limited. Popcorn and water will be available while supplies last.
