Wheatfield Band Concert

Wheatfield is a quartet of music and songwriting veterans. The group originated in Houston, TX back in the 70's. After a 25 year hiatus, the band reformed and began to write and perform again in 2004. Wheatfield consists of Craig Calvert, Connie Mims, Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. Their music is diverse as the members of the band and made stronger by that diversity. An evening with Wheatfield runs the gamut of songs written by the younger band as well as newer songs that deal with life from the perspective of 30 plus years after the band's inception. Wheatfield is not content to be a museum piece echoing its past. It's a live and forward-moving unit.
