Featuring 4 classes or areas of study each day (full day). Students may also opt for half days (morning or afternoon) with two areas of concentration.
Class #1 (8 a.m. – 10 a.m.): Roy Lichtenstein Portrait Project
Whaam! A selfie, a photo-editing application and yarn are the ingredients for creating an amazing portraiture project in homage to one of the Pop Art movement’s leading figures.

Class #2 (10 a.m. – 12 noon): 2D or not 2D: Landscapes with a Pop
Landscape painting infused with Peter Max-inspired patterns will be brought to life by adding a three-dimensional element.

Class #3 (1 – 3 p.m.): Hands-On Art History: The Art of Peace & Love
Peace and love have been subjects of great works of art for thousands of years by all world cultures. A brief historical survey will look at subjects as diverse as the Madonna and Child, Buddha and the 1960s peace symbol. Each participant will then create their own work to express their ideas and feelings – a painting, a sculpture, a collage or other original and personal work.

Class #4 (3 – 5 p.m.): Groove Tube
Campers will write, produce and perform an original ensemble piece in this multi-disciplinary workshop inspired by iconic television shows of the 1960s and ‘70s.
