All Together Now: Mural Painting
Campers will paint a collaborative mural based on designs from the ‘70s while also learning about the principles of design and the importance of math for the process.
I’m So Dizzy: The Optical Art Movement
(Visual Arts/Painting & Drawing/STEAM)
Op Art, short for Optical Art, is a style of visual art that uses patterns, lines and color to trick the eyes and create the impression of movement, vibrating patterns and other optical illusions. After studying Op Art of the ‘60s, campers will use line, black and white geometric patterns and color to produce their own dazzling and dizzying compositions.

Create a pop-up storybook about an imaginative voyage through space. Explore pop- up book design and structures to highlight what you might see traveling the universe and beyond.

The 1960s “Space Race” to the moon and the creation of the influential television show Star Trek are our inspiration for this week-long workshop building spaceships and other cool structures with LEGO® bricks.

Celestial Strings: Beginning to Intermediate Violin
This popular class is designed to give young players their first hands-on experience with string instruments with an emphasis on the violin. Students will learn correct posture and instrument position, left hand technique, right hand technique and basic music reading. Instruments are provided. Students that already play may bring their instruments to class for extra instruction and enrichment.
