Call for Entries: Southwestern Watercolor Society 54th Annual Member Exhibition

Southwestern Watercolor Society is pleased to announce it’s 54th Annual Member Exhibition to be held August 31 through September 30, 2017, at the Eisemann Center in Richardson.

Entry is open to members of the Southwestern Watercolor Society (SWS), a national organization based in Dallas and celebrating its’ 54th anniversary, with 400+ members throughout the USA. New members may join at the time of entry. To join SWS, go to www.swswatercolor.org/join/pay-dues

More than $5,000.00 in cash and merchandise to be awarded!  Entries open May 1, 2017, and the deadline for entry is June 30, 2017, at midnight.

The exhibition's juror is Keiko Tanabe. Born in Kyoto, Japan and currently living in San Diego, California, her work is featured in numerous art publications, and she is a sought-after workshop instructor.

The first painting entry fee is $35, and $5 for the second and third paintings. All work must be painted after Jan. 1, 2015. Original water media on paper or Yupo. 

Entry Fee (1st painting entry fee): $35.00; $5 each for 2nd & 3rd painting. Accepted water media include watercolors, acrylics, inks, gouache, casein, egg tempera, watercolor pencils, and watercolor crayons.
