See the stunning conclusion of the 2017 Cliburn, as the six finalists perform with Leonard Slatkin and the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra live in 300 movie theaters across the United States.
For the first time ever, the Final Round concerto performances of the Cliburn Competition will be broadcast on more than 300 cinema screens around the United States on Saturday, June 10, 2017. In the Fort Worth/Dallas area you can catch a screening at Cinemark 17, with IMAX, Tinseltown USA Plano and Galaxy 10.
The one-day event will highlight the final six competitors in concert with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Leonard Slatkin. The program will begin with a delayed broadcast of Friday evening’s performances, leading into a live presentation of Saturday’s performances. The broadcast begins at 1 p.m. ET /noon CT /11 a.m. MT / 10 a.m. PT on Saturday, June 10, and will run five and a half hours. It will include a live interview with Mr. Slatkin by Elliott Forrest of WQXR-FM, New York City’s classical station.
