Join The Artists' Showplace Gallery for the opening reception June 17 of the Wood Turner's exhibition, an arborist showcase featuring works from Kevin Bassett and Gary Sanders.
Bassett's interest in the art of wood turning evolved from his intensive study of plant pathology in his home state of Colorado, followed by a distinguished 40-plus-year career as a certified arborist.
Sanders is a retired fire fighter from Greenville, Texas. He began turning professionally in 1993. He has had work in several juried turning exhibitions and has work in several museums and private collections.
