Frisco Fine Art welcomes local modern artist Christina Yielding on Saturday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Then, on Sunday, from 12 to 4 p.m., we will celebrate Memorial Day with live painting demonstrations by Christina. Refreshments will be served.
Christina began painting 15 years ago. Her innovative techniques for creating her mixed-media paintings include using a variety of scrapers rather than brushes. Painting solely on wood, Christina builds a custom frame around every gorgeous piece. Her work has been featured in both solo and group shows throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. “The boundless and infinite nature of this work frees my imagination and silences my thoughts to allow for happy accidents infused with a measure of grace that influence the finished project.”
