Drawing Club is an open reoccurring figure drawing group which is focused on creative exercises and community discourse.
Drawing from the live human form is challenging and rewarding. Join us for 3 hours of figure drawing with a professional figure model where participants will work to inform their observational drawing skills in a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Participants will receive feedback and instruction. Each session will focus on a specific approach to rendering the figure.
Pose duration will be between 5-20 minutes.
Breaks will be given throughout the session.
All skill levels are welcome and encouraged.
Bring your own materials. Dry and water-based materials are welcome.
This session will be held at Jay Bailey's studio in the Continental Gin Building at 3309 Elm Street in Deep Ellum, Dallas. Refreshments are welcome.
