Golden Age of Mexican Cinema Film Series: Salón México

To pay for her younger sister’s education, Mercedes secretly works at a popular cabaret called Salón México. When she wins a dance contest, her partner Paco refuses to share the prize money with her so she steals it while he is sleeping. With the help of Lupe, the club’s head of security and Mercedes’ admirer, Mercedes attempts to escape Paco’s vengeance.
