Entertainment attorney Brent Turman will be giving a free presentation next Wednesday, May 3rd from 12pm-1:30pm.

“Script to Screen: Legal Issues Relating to Filmmaking”

This presentation will provide an overview of the legal issues relating to short and feature films, including the following:

· Legal issues for screenwriters to avoid;
· Potential legal issues with fundraising;
·         What written agreements you need to have;
·         Working with (or without) the guilds;
·         How to protect the filmmaker’s assets;
·         On-set safety;
·         Music in film; and
·         Many other topics.
