Brazos Gallery and the Richland College Photography Department are proud to present A Closer Look: Parking Lot Abstracts and Artifacts by Larry Petterborg. Larry is a student at Richland and is under the guidance of Professor Wayne Loucas. This is an unique show in that it is a solo exhibition granted to a student currently enrolled at Richland College. The exhibition contains over 30 large format digital prints of Larry’s work on the subject matter of parking lots. Professor Loucas recognized Larry’s strong composition and design around the banal and mundane subject matter of parking lots. Larry has managed to elevate his subject to striking abstract compositions of shapes, forms, colors and textures.
