Leading players from the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and a guest artist from Canada will join the Orchard Ensemble for storied music by Mozart and Beethoven in Mount Vernon Music’s “STRINGFEST,” presented by St. Rita Fine Arts on May 1 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church. Violinist Monica Pegis, Mark and Ute Miller (violin and viola), violist Sarah Kienle, and cellists Jolyon Pegis and Jeffrey Hood will present quintet and sextet arrangements of Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata and the Sinfonia Concertante K. 364 by Mozart.
