Santa Fe International Folk Art Market in Arlington

The Green at College Park

The American Dream City is now the Texas city where international dreams can also come true. On June 16 and 17, partnering with the renowned and wildly popular International Folk Art Alliance/Santa Fe, Arlington will be the new home of the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market at Arlington.  Drawing from the same carefully curated, international master artisans who journey to Santa Fe, the Market at Arlington will showcase their unique handcrafted clothing, jewelry, ceramics, accessories, painting, textiles, drums, and metalwork in a festival market environment at The Green at College Park, on the campus of The University of Texas at Arlington.

The festivities begin on the evening of June 16 with an intimate, ticketed VIP event, A Night in Old Havana, where guests will have the opportunity to shop and meet the artists. The one-day market opens to the public at 8:00 a.m. on June 17.  Artisans will journey to showcase and sell their wares from Niger, Ghana, Kyrgyzstan, South Sudan, Uzbekistan, Myanmar, Botswana, South Africa, Morocco, Haiti, Nigeria, Nepal, and Cuba, among others.
