XXXIII Anniversary of The Day of the Spanish Language

The Mexico Institute will present Mexican scholar Gregorio Luke, who will speak about Miguel de Cervantes, considered the father of the Spanish language, and on his famous book “Don Quijote de la Mancha.”

Since last year, the Spanish-speaking world has been commemorating Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, with different cultural and literary events. His masterpiece Don Quijote de la Mancha is a must for the Spanish-speaking world, its philosophical message is universal. It plays with fantasy and reality and the rich use of the language has remained in everyday expressions for hundreds of years.
