The MidCities Chamber Singers, led by Conductor D.J. Bulls, will perform the final concert of their inaugural season on April 29. “We Sing of Peace” will include music by Mendelssohn, Duruflé, Copland, Lauridsen, as well as the world premiere of “If I Can Stop One Heart From Breaking,” by Dr. Christopher Teichler, composer-in-residence for the MidCities Chamber Singers.
The concert begins at 6 p.m. at Plymouth Park United Methodist Church, 1615 W. Airport Freeway, in Irving. Tickets for the concert are $5, and can be purchased at midcitieschambersingers.com.
MidCities Chamber Singers was founded by Conductor and Artistic Director D.J. Bulls in the Spring of 2016, and has since performed four concerts, including “An Evening with Mozart and Brahms,” in collaboration with the Texas Chamber Music Project, and “Christmas with MidCities Chamber Singers.”
