RADIO ANNOUNCEMENTAvery Kelly: Animals and Landscapes is an exhibit of paintings and prints on view at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center April 7th - 25th.  Filled with color and light, the works in this exhibit feature wildlife such as roadrunners, owls, and horses.  Meet the artist at the opening reception, Friday April 7th from 6-9 PM, and view the artist’s website at www.averykellyart.com.
DESCRIPTIONCentered on the beauty and energy of the natural world, this exhibit will include original oil paintings and relief prints.  Filled with color and dynamism, the works in this exhibit feature wildlife such as roadrunners, owls, and horses.  Black-and-white prints showcase the clarity of light and contrast found in land, sea and sky.  Avery Kelly is an emerging artist who strives to convey a sense of joy and mystery through her work.  She is dedicated to making work with the intention of inspiring the vision and imagination of viewers.  Visit www.averykellyart.com for more information.  
Avery earned her MA and MFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas at Tyler, and a BFA in Painting from Texas Christian University.  She also holds a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Redlands, in California.  Currently living in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, Avery teaches at local colleges.  When not working in the studio, she enjoys observing her subjects outdoors, running, swimming, and hiking.
