Lecture: A Interview Musical Through Time by Bob Miller and Martin Matheny

Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum

Bob Miller and Martin Matheny will continue our lecture series by presenting a musical "Interview Through Time" on April 12 at 6 p.m. in the Commissioner's Courtroom at the Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square.

Bob Miller and Martin Matheny met in 2009 when they were chosen to lead the Praise and Worship Band for Open Range Cowboy Church in Krum, TX. The song writing duo started at this time and continues with songs about cowboys, Indians, and God. Bob and Martin are both lifelong performers. In addition to song writing, both write poetry and perform their work. Bob is a well-respected historian, covering the cattle drive era of 1850 to the turn of the century. Bob also has a vast knowledge of American Indians and the history of the first rail lines and trains. Together they perform “An Interview Through Time” with original and traditional songs related to the cowboys on the trail.
