The second edition of the Dallas Medianale will be coinciding with the re-opening of the MAC in its new location in the Cedars neighborhood of southern downtown Dallas. An exhibition by Los Angeles based artist Eve LaFountain and Dallas artist Sean Miller will open at the MAC on Friday evening. Eve LaFountain will install a two projector 16mm film installation that addresses the landscape of the American southwest. Sean Miller will present a new generative audio/visual installation. The exhibition will be on view Thursday-Saturday 12-3 or by appointment, with a closing reception on Saturday, May 27. The performances will be an augmented reality installation by Australian artist Ian Haig (www.ianhaig.net).
