Origami for Adults

Nicholson Memorial Library System - South Garland Branch

Adults can learn origami, the Japanese art of paper folding, at the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s seasonal Origami Workshops. The next workshop will take place at 6:30 p.m. on April 13 at the South Garland Branch Library.

Each workshop will begin with some instruction in paper folding techniques. Participants will then create three pieces of origami based on a seasonal theme. Attendees at the April workshop will make origami rabbits, birds and morning glory flowers. The library will provide all the supplies.

This program is limited to 15 individuals aged 18 and older. Registration is required and begins on March 30. Patrons may register for up to two of the four origami events held in 2017. Please be aware that photographs and video may be taken at Library programs for use in print and/or electronic media at the Library’s discretion.
