Tina Medina is a Dallas artist and professor of art at Mountain View College. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Texas Tech University and Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of North Texas. Her art has been exhibited nationally and selected for juried exhibits at the Dallas Contemporary, Craighead and Green’s North Texas Talent, the Bathhouse Cultural Center, and 500X Gallery. She was selected by the Mexic-Arte Museum to be showcased in the 7th Annual Young Latino Artist’s Exhibition, and was also awarded a solo show at Women and Their Work Gallery, both in Austin, Texas. Medina was an artist/member of the historical Dallas artist co-opt, 500X Gallery for 5 years. She has also curated exhibitions such as, ELLA: Exhibiting Local Latina Artists at the Dallas Latino Cultural Center.
