Sammons Cabaret: Teddy and Lorena Davey

Sammons Center for the Arts

The saying “all good things are worth waiting for” certainly applies to this concert on May 18. Originally scheduled for September 2016, Lorena and Teddy Davey’s “He Sang, She Sang” features the great songs you know and love, but with a fun twist. This concert, which closes the spring season of the Snyder Family Series of Sammons Cabaret, begins at 8:00 p.m. in Kurth Hall, located on the fourth floor of the Sammons Center for the Arts; doors open at 7:30 p.m. The show consists of two sets with a brief intermission between sets. Admission includes complimentary valet parking, light appetizers, and beverages.

Sharing a passion for the stage, the Great American Songbook, jazz, and classical and pop music, Teddy and Lorena Davey first appeared together onstage more than ten years ago at the Las Vegas Hilton. Thankfully for North Texas fans, what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. Today, they own the popular Lakewood hot spot, The Balcony Club and stay busy acting, too. Lorena is an award-winning company member of Echo Theatre and Teddy is an ensemble member at Undermain Theatre.
