From rope beds to one leg beds, come and see the idiosyncrasies of life in 1840s log houses and cabins. Explore the Peters Colony Land Grant Office with a costumed guide who can explain to your whole family what a surveyor did for a living and why Peters Colony was so important to our area. Then check out the Log House where an experienced spinner and weaver will let you see, feel, and listen as she turns wool into thread. This event is family friendly.
