Remember when gas was $0.16 a gallon? We don’t either, but you can explore that time period and more on Sunday, April 9th, at the Farmers Branch Historical Park, from 1 to 4 PM. Our 1937 Service Station will be open with a costumed mechanic eager to show off our fantastic Ford truck from the era, our gas pumps, and more. Our 1927 General Store will be open too, with a shop keeper ready to show off the newest goods from the Sears and Roebuck Catalog. And our original late 1800s Farmers Branch Train Depot and Caboose will be open as well, with telegraph key, waiting room, and baggage area all on display. This event is family friendly. Guests are encouraged to ask questions and interact with their guide as much as they wish. A great event for young and old alike. For more information call 972.406.0184 or email [email protected].
