On the second Wednesday of every month from March to May and every Wednesday of June, the Dallas Heritage Village presents Barnyard Buddies Story Time from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Children get the opportunity to read a story, craft and explore the historic village.
The story time's for each date are as follows:
March 8: "The Keeping Quilt" by Patricia Polacco; craft - creating small quilts
April 12: "Chugga Chugga Choo Choo" by Kevin Lewis; craft - making freight trains with egg cartons
May 10: "Sheep in a Jeep" by Nancy E. Shaw,
June 7: "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle; craft - making caterpillars with balloons and paint
June 14: "From Heat to Toe" by Eric Carle
June 21: "Secret Birthday Message" by Eric Carle; making secret messages with shapes from around the Village
June 28: "What's for Lunch?" by Eric Carle.
